Transcode your content for archiving, previewing, customization and delivery.
A Flow Coder comes built-in with every Flow Core installation. It is a fully featured transcoding engine, capable of crunching the bits from editing systems or user generated content in any format, codec and data rate. The flow coder will process your media into any format you need for archiving or delivery. Flow Coder is a software transcoder operating on the Linux OS. Its plugin system feautes powerful plugins like data extraction, logo embedding with alpha channels, timecode embedding, rough cut (edit) a video, merge different videos into one single clip, manage up to 16 audio tracks for multi-language repurposing and much more. Flow Coder is already part of the Flow Center Core server software.

You have a transcoder already in place?
For existing transcoder setups, the Flow Center Core software can make use of all the connected transcoding engines with an SDK or XML file configurations via watchfolders. Almost any existing transcoder engine is capable of being remotely instructed to transcode provided files via the Flow Center.
Systems that we have successfully integrated with include Adobe Media Encoders, Rhozet Harmonics Transcoders, digital rapids encoders, MainConcept transcoders and as a cloud-based solution the integration of the Amazon Elastic Cloud Transcoder.
